I started photographing people on the streets where I lived in New Jersey, New York, Maine, DC, and North Carolina in 2000, but I only show here photos starting in 2010, when everyday street ephemera began to feel more delicate and fleeting and abstraction seemed more germane than the more traditional street photography that I had been shooting.
